1	"Following the Star" by Our Masterpieces We are two Tallahassee ladies who, for the last ten years, have combined our creative skills to create a labor of love. In 1995 we began creating "The Gift Givers," and the project quickly developed into the three Magi and their entourage. As we sculpted the figures we strove to capture a single moment in their journey of following the star to the Christ Child. Therefore we renamed the set "Following the Star" by Our Masterpieces. As you can see from the photographs in this album, the people and animals are highly detailed using beautiful materials and accoutrements. Not only are they interesting from all sides, but they are also great as a whole unit or in smaller groupings. With the beautiful hand embroidery, hand-made musical instruments and cross-stitched saddle blanket fringed with beads and bells, they are truly a work of art. Those who have seen the display in person are struck by its message of the journey and the craftmanship. We would like to share them with others to be enjoyed in homes or in churches. We realize churches may not have the finances to purchase a set, but are in hope that people might be interested in helping to finance a set to be donated to the church of their choice. If this is something in which you would like to participate, please contact the owner of this site.
