    • According to "Decatur County, Past & Present," Domie was born 24 May 1870.  However, in the census conducted on 25 Aug 1870, she was listed as 5 months old.  This supports a March, rather than May birth date.  Also, in the 1900 census, she was listed as "Dometres Donalson," being born in "Mar" 1870.  She is shown as having been married 8 years, which is consistent with the marriage date of 3 Dec 1891 to Byron Donalson supplied by the online Decatur County marriage listings.  However, further evidence, including her death certificate, her obituary, and her tombstone, is needed to support the conclusion that she was born in March, rather than May of 1870.
