      "In the name of God, Amen: I, Benjamin Berryman of ye county of Westmoreland......give to my son James my house and land whereon I now live......alsoe my watter Grist mill to him, the said James Berryman, and the heirs male of his body, and for want of such heirs to my son William Berryman, etc. (and in case of death of each and his male heirs to descend in order to) Maximillian,......John, Newton......Henry......Benjamin Grandson Gilson......then to my right heirs at law.
      2. I give to my son Henry Berryman, two hundred ackers of land....
      3. I give to my son William the rest of my first land....
      4. My land in King George County....I have given by deed to my son Benjamin....and the remaining two hundred ackers I give to my son John....
      5. I give to my son Newton Berryman and to my son Maximilian Berryman Six hundred and sixty-three ackers of land att a place called the marsh in King George County to be equally divided between them....
      6. My son Benjamin Berryman hath his parte of negroes and is possessed of them and I doe by this will confirme them to him he hath alsoe had his share of cattell hogg household goods etc. Alsoe my daughter Rose hath had her parte and my daughter Anne her parte and my daughter Elizabeth her parte soe that I give them noe more and need not say any further of them.............................
      Memorandum:....I make my sons William Berryman and James Berryman to be my executors with my son Benjamine Berryman....forasmuch as I have entailed my land on my sons and theire male heirs....in case of failure of the male heirs of my sons, then I give to my four daughters Rose, Sarah, Frances, and Catherine and the heirs male of their bodys and for want of such I give to my sons and daughters and heirs forever. As witness my hand and seal this fourth day of August ye year 1729.
