    • MR. MORGAN CLOUD

Mr. Morgan Cloud, a native of Decatur county, died two and one-half miles from town on the Quincy road, Friday, June 1, and was buried in Mt. Olive cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Lee Knowles.

Mr. Cloud leaves to mourn his loss his widow, five children and two brothers. Bearden and Cox, funeral directors, in charge.

In Memory of Mr. M. E. Cloud

On Friday, June 1st, the death angel visited the home of Mrs. Ida Cloud and took from them their dear husband and father, M. E. Cloud. He had been in bad health for the past three years, but his instant death was caused from blood poison. Uncle Morgan will be missed by his many friend[s], for to know him was to love him. He was so loving, kind, and true. He always had a kind word for each and everyone. He was married to Miss Ida Rich September 10, 1889. To this union was born five children who are still living. He has three married children and two single boys to remain at home with that heart broken mother, but weep not dear widow for God has another beautiful flower to bloom in glory. Our loss is heaven's gain, and as we are left to mourn and weep the good Lord will help us bear the burden for He alone can heal our broken hearts, so look ever to Jesus and he will carry you through.

We know the home seems dark and lonely for the dear mother and the two boys who will have to remain where the place in their home is vacant, and can never be home like it has once been. It will be so lonely for the dear ones who stood by him in all his suffering, but could not stay the cold hand of death away. He leaves to mourn his death his widow, five children and five grand children, and two brothers.

The funeral services were held at Mt. Olive, conducted by Rev. R. L. Knowles, of Bainbridge. "Sleep on dear uncle and take your rest, we loved you dearly but God loved you best."
