    • "Edwin F. Nestor

      VERNON - Edwin F. Nestor, 77, died Sunday at St. Vincent's Nursing Home in Montclair, following a long illness. He was born in Franklin and had lived there before moving to the Glenwood section of Vernon in 1963.

      Mr. Nestor retired in 1977 from Cellate, Inc., of Franklin. He was a former Franklin councilman, having served for 15 years. He also was an exempt member of Franklin Fire Department and a charter member of the Walkill Valley First Aid Squad. He also was the first president of the Pope John XXIII High School Fathers Guild.

      Mr. Nestor is survived by his wife, Rosemary (nee McEntee); two sons, William C. of Wantage and Edwin F. Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Margaret Howard of Elmwood Park, and Barbara Parsons of Lexington, Ky.; three brothers, Dr. John Nestor of Arlington, Va., Paul Nestor of Oakton, Va., and Edward Nestor of Berryville, Va.; three sisters, Caroline Jonson of Menlo Park, Calif., Eileen Gardner of Santa Cruz, Calif., Claire Hoade of Bluemont, Va.; and seven grandchildren.

      A memorial Mass will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception R. C. Church in Franklin. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent's Nursing Home, 44 Elm St. Montclair, N.J. 07042. Funeral arrangements are by the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St., Franklin."

      Franklin- Miss Alice Rosemary McEntee, daughter of J. Raymond McEntee, Main Street and Edwin Francis Nestor, son of Mrs. William C. Nestor, of 72 Church , were married Sunday at 12:30 o'clock in the church of the Immaculate Conception by the Rev. John R. Bennett, pastor of the church.
      Miss Barbara H. Brown, of Maple road, was matron of honor, and Joseph Nestor, brother of the groom was best man.
      The bride wore a gown of dusty pink and blue and a corsage of orchids. The maid of honor wore navy blue with a corsage of roses.
      After a wedding trip to Atlantic City, the young couple will live at 72 Church street.
      Miss McEntee attended Dominic Academy, Caldwell. The groom graduated from Franklin High School and is now employed by the New Jersey Zinc Co.
