Your site has the wrong name for the husband of Mary "Polly" Jones, daughter of Rachel and Bridger Jones. The correct name is Jehu Winott Everett. Alvaretta Kenan Register has the name correct in her book, EVERETT/EVERITT FAMILY A Genealogical History.

Your info on the McNiel family of Wilkes Co. NC, matches and amplifies that I had found previously. Elder George McNiel was my 4-great grandfather (through his son John, then Benjamin, then William M., his son George Looney (my grandfather) and his son William Hobgood McNiel, my father. Have you ever seen a reference to Thomas McNiel being Elder George's father?
